Share the Planet is an NGO established in 2014 with the goal of supporting individuals and organizations engaged in international cooperation. We primarily aim to contribute to developing regions overseas and foster the growth of a healthy civil society.
Currently, we are collaborating with local NGOs, government agencies, and international organizations in Bangladesh to implement and promote climate-resilient rice farming and other agricultural practices.

Activity Period: April 2025 - March 2026
Activity Area: Bangladesh
Activity Details: In Bangladesh, which has the world's highest per-capita rice consumption and third-highest production, a large amount of well water is used for cultivation. This has led to social problems such as declining underground aquifers, shortages of both agricultural and drinking water, and the release of harmful arsenic. To improve this situation, we aim to popularize water-saving farming methods to reduce the burden on underground aquifers.
