This organization was established by local residents with the primary goal of creating an environment where people can continue to love and cherish their hometown. We undertake various activities necessary for improving the coastal environment, starting with beach cleanups, to restore the Narashino seaside into a place that is an integral and accessible part of daily life.
18th Grant Project
Narashino Ocean Conservation Association:“Bring Back Our Ocean!”
Activity Period: April 2023 - March 2026
Activity Area: Narashino City, Chiba Prefecture
Activity Details: We will conduct regular cleanup activities to remove marine debris, such as plastic waste, from the Tokyo Bay coastal area of Narashino City. We will also hold at least one environmental lecture or event annually to encourage as many people as possible to take an interest in and act on nature conservation and creating an environment where living creatures can thrive.
