This organization was founded in 2021 by a group that wanted to save and preserve Jinde Pond in Susaki City, Kochi Prefecture, which had been slated for closure. They began by conducting a biological survey.
Today, with the goal of "preserving Jinde Pond and passing its biodiversity on to the future," the institute focuses on three core pillars: conservation activities, biological surveys, and public outreach. Its work is primarily led by middle school, high school, and university students in collaboration with local elementary schools and the community.

Activity Period: April 2025 - March 2026
Activity Area: Susaki City, Kochi Prefecture
Activity Details: We will continue our monthly biological surveys to understand the biodiversity of the pond and its surrounding environment. We will also host observation events and seminars to raise awareness about our daily activities and the importance of biodiversity. For conservation, we will collaborate with the local community to preserve the pond and its surrounding satoyama※ environment for the future.
※Satoyama is a traditional Japanese term for the landscape between mountain foothills and arable flat land.
