Everlasting Nature was established to collaborate with local partners on the conservation of sea turtles in Indonesia, leading to the creation of the Indonesian Sea Turtle Research Center. Everlasting Nature, launched as the Japanese liaison for the research center, was officially approved as a non-profit organization (NPO) in Kanagawa Prefecture in July 2002.

Activity Period: April 2023 - March 2026
Activity Area: Ogasawara Village, Tokyo, and other locations
Activity Details: We will investigate the impact of marine debris on endangered sea turtles, focusing on their ingestion of trash. In addition to conducting on-site research, we will hold hands-on events using collected marine debris. Our goal is to give the public a firsthand understanding of the current state of marine pollution and, in doing so, raise awareness for environmental conservation.
