Exhibition Concept
Architecture & Environment
We have been constantly thinking about "architecture and environment. "Instead of setting a boundary by creating architecture, we hope to create a place where our work and the environment become connected. Under the theme of "Architecture and Environment," this exhibition will introduce our latest projects in Japan, China, Europe and other countries, including residences, universities, museums, and theaters, using models and drawings.
How have the three offices - SANAA, Kazuyo Sejima & Associates, and Office of Ryue Nishizawa - been perceiving and seeking to realize "architecture and environment" in the respective projects, while influencing each other's work? Also, through the journey from the very beginning /establishment of our offices to the present, how has the way we perceive "architecture and environment" changed? We too are hoping to make new discoveries through this exhibition.
