Exhibition Concept
, and then

This exhibition consists of several films.
Each of the films mainly features how each architecture we had built in the past spent a period of time we architects knew nothing about.
Maybe it would be more accurate to call this a "screening" of ", and then" rather than an "architectural exhibition."

We architects cannot interfere with the flow of time or ", and then" what goes on in architecture after completion. Each film was therefore shot and edited by other persons and not by us.
Perhaps we can say that this is an exhibition like a small film festival showing films with inconsistent themes.

We naturally know everything about these architectures featured in the films––from curtain operating mechanisms to quotes by film directors that inspired the design.
Since the museum turns into a small cinema complex during this period, we would certainly provide lobbies to display these things.

One more thing.

Because films begin and end at the fixed time, they may cause inconvenience at an "exhibition" where one can usually walk around at his/her own pace.
I would be happy if you could come to this exhibition as if coming to a film theater.
