Description of contents
This is the first book by Erika Nakagawa, one of the most prominent young architects today. The book contains fifteen projects including "Yokohama Apartment" which Nakagawa designed as a project architect at ondesign, and "Momoyama House" which was her first work as an independent architect among other ongoing projects.
Erika Nakagawa Office's works and architectural thinking are introduced using a large format that allows the reader to physically experience their unique study methods including large-scale models made for various study purposes, neighborhood context drawings to study how the neighborhood and architecture are connected and so on. It also includes Nakagawa's two dialogues, one with Chilean architect Smiljan Radić, and the other with Japanese architect Taira Nishizawa.
