This exhibition displays eighteen of Jahn's principal works, from his "State of Illinois Center"(1985) through the present. Visitors might feel somewhat overwhelmed by the space, the power of its large-scale towers. This group of models, accompanied by unique sepia colored drawings, captures thoroughly the features characterizing Jahn's work--large-scale architecture that makes innovative use of glass, steel and stone materials to archieve an enduring and lofty style. At the same time, Jahn attempts to develop space and forms that attain a harmonious balance between the spirit of the times and modern technological innovation.
