Suzuki's works are presented in sequence to suggest the shape of his past, present, and then future development. A walk around the exhibition area gives a clear picture of the architect's development, featuring childhood sketches as well as assignments completed as a student. A clear chronological progression emerges. In addition, models of his work, construnted from heavy paper and metal, integrate smoothly with the themes of the exhibition. Their hard metal outer layers and interior consisting of soft paper seem to encapsulate the essence of Suzuki's artistic expression--the full metal jacket.
