Introduction of group activities

We view the sea, rivers, and mountains as a single ecosystem, and we conduct activities to deliver the blessings of the mountains to the sea and connect rich nature to the future. In addition to raising awareness of marine conservation through monthly beach cleanups, we maintain bamboo forests and neglected farmland so that more nutrients from the mountains can reach the sea. We aim to expand the community by providing lifelong learning that refines sensibilities through interaction with nature.

Activity Period: April 2026 - March 2027
Activity Area: Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture
Activity Details: Focusing on the connection between the mountains and the sea, the project conducts monthly maintenance of bamboo groves and abandoned farmlands, as well as coastal cleanups on tidal flats. In addition, in collaboration with local residents, the project works to create and install "Suyakkii" (water-purifying unglazed clay balls), aiming to restore the sea to its beautiful state.
