Introduction of group activities

Established by experts in research and environmental education with the aim of conserving biodiversity in Ehime Prefecture, the organization regularly holds "Science Cafes" on the ecology of living things and promotes research and conservation activities for the endangered dragonfly species, the Japanese giant damselfly. In the "Creating Forests and Villages in Water Sources You'll Want to Visit" project, they conduct conservation of the Japanese lily, observe river creatures, and organize eco-tours.

Activity Details: Focused on the Kouno River, which is home to many endangered species of flora and fauna, the project conducts nature observation sessions, surveys of living things, and riverside cleanup activities at various points from the source to the river mouth. These efforts provide opportunities to think about biodiversity and experience firsthand the necessity of conservation.
