Companies and employees of the TOTO Group work together to conduct support for disaster-affected areas when a large-scale disaster and other events happen. As our reconstruction support activities for the region devastated by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, we are continuing fundraising activities through the TOTO Group Fund Raising System while organizing and supporting events that help revitalize the afflicted areas. We also have agreed to the objectives of the Nippon Foundation's Work for Tohoku in collaboration with the Reconstruction Agency for dispatching employees selected from applicants to internals call to local governments. The number of dispatched employees was three from 2014 to 2015 and two from 2016 to 2017. Even after finishing the dispatch, we have continued supporting Ishinomaki City, the local government to which TOTO dispatched the employees, utilizing the Furusato Nozei (hometown tax donation) system.
