ABC Outdoor Education Center
This organization was founded with the goal of becoming a formal NPO, moving beyond a volunteer-based or one-off activity group. Its members are primarily recruited from private organizations, universities, and educational institutions in Oita Prefecture that conduct "nature experience activities for youth," along with teachers and social education supervisors. The center's operations are supported by commissioned work and grants from government bodies and educational institutions.

Changing the Water Environment of Beppu City with Children’s Rag-making Activities!
Activity Period: April 2023 - March 2026
Activity Area: Beppu City, Oita Prefecture
Activity Details: We will visit kindergartens and elementary schools in municipalities surrounding Beppu Bay to conduct workshops on household wastewater. Participants will learn to make and use "waste cloths" (small rags cut from old clothes and fabrics) to wipe off oil and dirt from dishes. We will also organize cleanup activities on local rivers, engaging with the community.
