Inherent Limitations with the Measurement and Evaluation of Environmental Performance Data

The quantitative results for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions listed in the data book and other materials are subject to uncertainties pertaining to the measurement of activity data and the determination of emission factors. The results are also impacted by scientific uncertainties related to the determination of global warming potentials.
Accordingly, the reported GHG emissions may vary materially when different calculation methods, activity data, emission coefficients, and assumptions are used within an acceptable range.
